ONEWE

Beautiful Ashes

ONEWE is facing an aching heart in their new title track “Beautiful Ashes”.  And this comeback marks the first one with all 5 members back, since Yonghoon and Kanghyun were discharged from the military.  This powerful rock ballad features the dramatically beautiful and emotional vocals that give the band their signature sound.  The MV shows the members as they try to move on from a painful breakup.

UNICODE

Let Me Love

New girl group UNICODE is taking a look back in their debut single “Let Me Love”. This interesting new group is comprised of all Japanese singers who are singing in Korean.  The sweetly simple pop track is melodic and comforting.  The synth and percussion give the song texture while the smooth vocals glide along gently.  The MV shows the members as students who spend the day playing around in an empty school.

ILLIT

Lucky Girl Syndrome

ILLIT aren’t looking for a golden ticket in their new single “Lucky Girl Syndrome”.  It’s been just over a year since the HYBE girl group debuted to viral success.  This cheerful pop track builds on their upbeat positivity and airy melodies.  Giggles, finger snaps, and snappy percussion blend with the plunky guitar to give the song an optimistic bounce.  The MV shows the members living their daily life while a series of lucky coincidences lead to greater opportunities.

Loossemble

Girls’ Night

5 member LOONA subunit Loossemble are hoping to see the light in their new single “Girls’ Night”.  This dance pop track features strong vocals and muted synth sounds.  While the song progresses through multiple tempo changes, it continues to build, going out on a dynamic high note.  The MV focuses on lots of soft, glamorous close-ups and catchy choreography.

BOYNEXTDOOR

Earth, Wind, & Fire

BOYNEXTDOOR is feeling confused in their new single “Earth, Wind & Fire”.  This playful pop song has a fun energy and various tempos that keep the song fresh and new throughout.  The addition of a super-sped up couple of lines lend to the overall playfulness of the melodies.  The MV shows different sequences that show how love is both all-consuming and uncontrollable.
