Lee Jae Jin
FTISLAND’s Lee Jae Jin was discharged from the military on August 1st. Having served his time with the 3rd Infinitry Division, the singer/actor thanks his fans for their support. Lee Jae Jin is the second band member to complete his military responsiblities. Fans were able to watch Lee Ja Jin on VLIVE on August 2nd and he says he is looking forward to seeing more fans in the future. Welcome hom, Lee Jae Jin. You were missed!

Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Tae Hwan, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun
Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Tae Hwan, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun will all be appearing in the upcoming romantic drama “39 40”. Three high school friends on the verge of turning 40 share their struggles and triumphs in this touching drama about friendship, love, and life after your 30s.
Jin Ki Joo
Jin Ki Joo has been confirmed to join Park Hae Jin in the upcoming fantasy drama “From Now On, Showtime”. Jin Ki Joo will play a police officer who meets a mysterious magician who helps her with a case she is investigating. “From Now On, Showtime” is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.
Kim Sejeong, Seol In Ah and Kim Min Kyu
Kim Sejeong, Seol In Ah, and Kim Min Kyu have joined Ahn Hyo Seop in the upcoming romantic comedy “A business Proposal”. Based on a webnovel and webtoon, the drama tells the story of a woman who agrees to go on a blind date in place of her friend, but the date ends up being with the CEO of her company. “A Business Proposal” is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.
Shin Hyun Been
Shin Hyun Been has been cast to star opposite Song Joong Ki in the upcoming fantasy drama “Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son”. Based on a webnovel of the same name, the drama is about a family secretary who is framed for embezzelment and then is reborn as the family’s youngest son. “Chaebol Family’s Youngest Son” is scheduled to air some time in 2022.

DUMB DUMB
Somi is back with a MV for her newest single “DUMB DUMB”. “DUMB DUMB” is a fun electro groove dance track with an upbeat chantlike melody and a catchy chorus. The MV transforms SOMI into a high school student who is trying to catch her crush’s attention.

Ra Pam Pam
Golden Child is back with their second full length album and a MV for the title track “Ra Pam Pam”. The moombahton beat mixes with heavy percussion and latin influences to create a smooth dance track. The post-apocolyptic video shows the band battling unseen forces in an effort to save the world.

After Midnight
Astro joins the summer fun with their new MV for “After Midnight”. The uptempo pop track embraces all the flavors of summer with a bright beat that embraces the disco trends so popular in kpop these days. The lyrics were written by singer/actor Cha Eun Woo and talk about a summer vacation with the people you love.

Holiday Party
Weeely released a MV for their newest single “Holiday Party”. The bouncy pop track usses heavy synth and percussion to compliment the sweet melodies and sing-song chanting of the lyrics. The MV shows the band planning a secret party and is full of bright colors and a festive atmosphere.

At last, ex-Straykid Kim Woojin’s solo debut has been released with a MV for the title track “Ready Now”. Similar in style to his pre-debut release “Still Dream”, “Ready Now” is a mid-tempo song with smooth synth sounds. While the MV highlights Kim Woojin’s obvious dancing skills, the song also shows off the versatility of his vocal talent as well.

For those watching the romantic comedy “Monthly Magazine Home” on iQIYI, the finale aired on August 5th. (Just a note that, for those using VIKI, this drama is still on episode 12.) A writer for a monthly magazine spends her days writing about dream homes, but her own living situation is less than ideal.
