Should I Watch
'Undercover Miss Hong' is a crime comedy set in the 1990s. This drama is surprisingly fun. The premise is just absurd enough to give it the proper amount of humorous levity. The characters are interesting and the 90s touches feel nostalgic without being heavy-handed.
But if you are looking for a rom-com, this is not your show. You also need to be willing to embrace a certain degree of ridiculous chaos if you are really going to enjoy it. The unrealistic nature of it all is party of what makes this a comedy. So sit back and enjoy the giggles, without trying to overthink it too much! I give 'Undercover Miss Hong a 4 out of 5 ramen.
