The Story
A woman attorney becomes the first female to ever work for Gilmu Law Firm. The firm specializes in defending those in the entertainment industry. So when she is asked to become legal advisor to an actor, famous for his parts in romantic comedies, she has no choice but to take the job. But she has never trusted men in general, and a misunderstanding about the actor himself starts their working relationship off on the wrong foot. And when he finds out that she is the cure to his past trauma, he is determined to convince her he is someone she can trust and hopefully even love.
Should I Watch
At 10 episodes, and most under an hour, "Love to Hate You" is an ideal binge drama. I ate through this one in a hurry and was sad to see it end. It is an old fashion rom-com with a modern, feminist twist. The story is simple, the characters are likable, and we get a fair balance of both romance and some tough action scenes. Kim Ji Hoon steals the show as the second lead, so if you are a fan, this is one you shouldn't miss. I give "Love to Hate You" a 9 out of 10 ramen.
