My Personal Thoughts and Ratings
‘You and Everything Else’ is a moving melodrama about lifelong relationships and the difficult feelings that come from a combination of friendship and rivalry. The story is rich and complex and the drama will take you on a bittersweet emotional rollercoaster. The lead actresses gave beautiful performances and the characters are well written.
This drama is slow moving and a bit morose. Even in their younger days, their lives are shadowed by dark themes, relationships, and life events. Topics like neglect, suicide, and death may seem too heavy for some fans. But if you enjoy raw emotional dramas that center more on friendship and complex relationships rather than action, romance or family, this one feels genuine and heartbreaking. I give ‘You and Everything Else’ a 9 out of 10 ramen.
