The Story
After the death of his only sister, a talented musician and music professor gives up his musical career to move closer to his nephew and becomes a divorce attorney. As a divorce attorney, he puts his skills of observation and attention to detail to use to help his clients get the divorce settlements they deserve. But when he finds out that his nephew is struggling with his home life, he suddenly finds himself personally involved in a custody case that has higher stakes than any case he has ever handled.
Should I Watch
“Divorce Attorney Shin” is a legal drama that focuses on cases where there is more to it than meets the eye. Quirky lawyer dramas are hardly in short supply these days, but this drama has some elements that set it apart from the others. Cho Seung Woo is wonderful in this role and the interactions between he and his 2 best friends are funny and well played. The cases are interesting, the music is fun, and the theme of family is heartfelt. I give “Divorce Attorney Shin” a 9 out of 10 ramen.

Divorce Attny was SO good. Taxi Driver confused me SPOILER
b/c they caged the bad guys w/out s plan to deal w/them. Seemed shortsighted for all these good guys who were supposed to be smart. That ruined it 4 me. Besides the gray haired taxi guy is always evil, so I didn’t trust him in this series.
Funny you would say that about Taxi Driver. I touched on that in my review for Season 2 because they didn’t have them and it made the ending much more satisfying!
