Music News

Stray Kids

Ex

The Stray Kids are showing off their more sensitive sides in their new MV for “Ex”.  While “Back Door” was a powerful dance number, “Ex” is a melodious ballad that shows off their vocals.  They chose to highlight depression and the struggles that accompany it, touching on a subject that has impacted so many fellow idols and fans.  It’s nice to see them branching out and maturing as artists.  Give it a listen.  I think you’ll be glad you did.

Super M

One (Monster & Infinity)

In this time of widespread isolation due to COVID-19, Super M brings us their title song off their new album “ONE”.  The song holds out a message of hope as it emphasizes the way the group has been able to come together as one, making them all stronger.  “One” takes elements from 2 previous songs, “Monster” and “Infinity” and melds them into a single hybrid remix.  The result is the same kind of energy and strong choreography you would expect from Super M and the repurposing of 2 already great songs into 1 great hit.

UP10TION

Light

Lights and lasers abound in this new MV from UP10TION.  Strong funk and synth influences give the song a refreshing beat.  The lyrics tell the story of meeting someone you are instantly attracted to and trying to show them your true self.

The Boyz

The Stealer

Watch out because The Boyz are out to steal your heart in this newest MV for “The Stealer”.  Hip hop dance beats and choreography drive the song, with a strong bass rhythm to ground it.  “Road To Kingdom” gave The Boyz a great opportunity to grow musically, and this MV gives them the platform to show off some of what they learned.
