Rapper and singer-songwriter DAWN began his military service on October 12th. He aplogized for waiting until the day of his enlistment to make his announcement, so that he could do it quietly. DAWN will spend his military time as a public service worker. He also shared that he has some completed project that will continue to roll out during the time he is away. Hurry home, DAWN. We will miss you!

Park Se Wan will star in the upcoming comedy crime drama “Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit”. Her co-star is still undecided, although Kim Dong Wook is currently in talks for the role. The drama tells the story of a struggling violent crimes unit that is able to sky rocket into the best department in the country, after hiring a talented team leader. “Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit” will air some time next year.

Lim Young Woong is hoping to drive fans crazy with his new single “Do or Die”. And it’s likely to work. The singer, known for his trot and ballad hits, is taking a completely new direction in this EDM dance track. The heavy synth sounds and upbeat style fits Lim Young Woong’s honey vocals surprisingly well. The MV shows the performer living a lonely existence on a space station.

MEDUSA
JUST B is ready to ride or die in their new single “MEDUSA”. This punk rock track gives a powerful drum beat with strong melodic lyrics layered over the top. The song builds with anthemic energy and a confident delivery. The MV has the band searching the city for water and continually coming up short.

Ailee is living the city life in her new title track “RA TA TA”. Getting some help from female rapper Lil Cherry, Ailee unloads with bombastic style and intensity. This dance club track uses trilling percussion and synth with heavy bass to give a thumping dance sound. The MV shows the singer meeting a handsome stranger on the dance floor at a crowded club.

iKON’s BOBBY breaks free from restraints on his new single “f”. This rebellious rap track has no room for a clean version, as the singer unleashes a string of verbal explatives that take aim at those who used fake concern to judge and criticize him in the past. Electric guitar sings in the background, as BOBBY delivers agressively raw vocals. The MV shows the artist losing his restraints, and singing and dancing in his new found freedom.

New supergroup tripleS unveiled their newest sub-unit EVOLution this week. The group is ready to live and die for their dreams in their new title track “invincible”. The pop track focuses on icy instrumentation and breathy, high vocals. The MV shows the group at a school late at night as they search for missing diamonds.

Break the Brake
Xdinary Heroes get close to heaven in their new title track “Break the Brake”. This punk rock track screams with electric rock guitar and shouty, aggressive lyrics. The rugged sound is reminiscent of label mates Day6, with their strong rock ties. The MV shows the group trying to break out of a prison train as the cops are hot on their trail.

Rookie Group 82MAJOR make their official debut with the new single “FIRST CLASS”. Although their pre-release single “Sure Things” was a melodic love song, this new track is a hard-hitting hip-hop track. Thumping drum beats, a strong bass line, and twinkling synths give the song a aggressive, anthemic edge. The MV shows off the new groups choreography skills with individual shots of each member.

The historical romance drama “My Dearest” returned on October 13th with Part 2. This drama follows a young woman who falls for a cold-hearted stranger who has never loved anyone. But war and turmoil drive them apart before either of them has a chance to explore their feelings.
