Casting News
Shin Jae Ha
Shin Jae Ha will join the lead cast for the upcoming sequel “Taxi Driver 2“. This will be the actors first role since being discharged from the military last month. He will play a new driver with an air of innocence who the team will try to protect. “Taxi Driver 2” will air some time next year.
Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae
Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae will be starring in the upcoming Disney+ series “Casino”. A man gains wealth and renown as a Casino King before losing it all on an unlucky risk. Now he is fighting to take back what he has lost. Disney has announced a “worldwide release” of this drama later this year, so US fans should have an opportunity to watch this one.
Park Ju Hyun, Kim Young Dae, and Kim Woo Seok
Park Ju Hyun, Kim Young Dae, and Kim Woo Seok will be starring in the upcoming historical romantic comedy “The Forbidden Marriage“. Based on a webtoon and webnovel of the same name, this story takes place 7 years after the tragic death of the crown princess. Hoping to end the prohibition on weddings, a matchmaker cons the king into believing she can be possessed by the spirit of the late princess.
Yoo Oh Sung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yeol, and Jung Jinyoung
The popular Netflix horror drama “Sweet Home” has confirmed a second and third season. Along with some familiar faces from the first season, the cast will be joined by Choi Min Sik, Son Suk Ku, Lee Dong Hwi, and Heo Sung Tae. The production team is promising the second season will include a new setting as well as an expanded storyline and cast. “Sweet Home” scheduled to air some time next year.
Cho Seung Woo
Cho Seung Woo will be starring in the upcoming legal drama “Sacred Divorce“. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama follows a genius pianist who becomes a divorce lawyer in this realistic representation of the struggles and pain of those ending their relationships. “Sacred Divorce” will air some time in the first half of next year.

bugAboo gets excited in their new title track “POP”. This pop track is full of bounding energy and strong vocals. It’s perfect girl crush summer music that is fun and upbeat. The MV is full of bright colors, casual fashion, and fun choreography.

Crazy
Wonho is taking a trip in his new single “Crazy”. This groovy rock track uses gritty guitar to balance out Wonho’s sleek, sexy vocals. The song vibrates with restrained energy and vivid textures. The MV shows the singer with his dance team in an old junk yard. The choreography is smooth and simple but irresistable appealing.
MCND
W.A.T.1
MCND is back with a track video for their new title track “W.A.T.1”. This intense rock track features electric guitar and energized vocals. The beat is bouncy and the tone is a bit subdued. The entire MV is based on choreography in various settings.
Pixy
Villain
Pixy is taking no prisoners in their new single “Villain”. This edgy pop track is full of heavy distortion and intense vocals. The tempo and style change enough to add to the off-kilter feel of the song as a whole. The MV has taken some criticism for being overly violent and unnecessarily bloody, so be warned. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea.

DRIPPIN is breaking out in their new single “Zero”. This aggressive rock track has heavy guitar distortion and strong beats. But they also take the tempo down for some nice melodic moments that give the song a unique appeal. The MV shows the band breaking out of the futuristic facility they are being held in.

The romantic drama “Sh**ting Stars” aired its finale on June 11th. This series provides a look into the work of entertainment PR managers and the high stress job of covering up the blunders and scandals of their stars. And when the star is someone you have had a crush on since college, that job becomes even more tricky.
Our Blues
The romantic family drama “Our Blues” ended on June 12th. A group of people whose lives are loosely connected through their lives on Jeju Island, search for happiness, love, and healing through the course of their every day lives.
From Now on Showtime
The fantasy rom-com “From Now on Showtime” finished airing on June 12th. A performing magician fascinates his fans with amazing feats of magic, but most of his tricks are only possible through the help of his trusty assistants, who also happen to be ghosts.
