Gong Myung
Singer and actor Gong Myung was discharged from the military on June 15th. He served for the last year and a half as an active duty soldier in the army. His agency announced his return to civilian life and shared that, while his next project has not yet been chosen, Saram Entertainment intends to support the actors career both domestically and internationally.

Joo Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Jung Jae Kwang
Joo Ji Hoon, Choo Young Woo, Ha Young, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Jung Jae Kwang have all confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming Netflix medical drama “Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour”. Based on a webtoon of the same name, it tells the story of a genius surgeon who is hired by a hospital trauma ward to return the facility to its former glory. “Severe Trauma Center: Golden Hour” has not yet announced an expected premiere date.

Song Joong Ki and his wife, British actress Katy Louise Saunders, welcomed their first child together this week. The actor’s wife was accompanying him in Italy, as he finished filming his latest project. The baby just happened to be born in Saunders’ hometown in Rome. Both son and mother are healthy and doing well.

This emotional ballad has smooth R&B influences and smoky vocals that showcase the many talents of this popular 2nd gen group. The MV shows each member feeling lonely and downcast until time is reversed and they find themselves back with those they were missing.

Ready to Move
NU’EST’s REN is showing us his heart in his new summer single “Ready to Move”. This retro dance track has a disco-funk beat with blasts of bright brass and stabs of icy synth. The song is bright and breezy with upbeat energy. The MV also shows us the breezy beauty of a fun summer day on the road and at the beach.

I Need Love
DKB is feeling lost in their new title track “I Need Love”. This dance pop track has a tropical summer feel. The wispy vocals and deep thumping percussion give perfect balance and the uplifting beat has an enchanting charm. The MV shows the members dancing all over town before the group meets up together on the beach.

Wild Heart
In its first boyband debut since ASTRO debuted back in 2016, Fantagio Entertainment introduced rookie group LUN8 this week. Their jaunty pop single “Wild Heart” feels fresh and fun and blends rock and rap into the mix. The bouncy summer beat has great energy and charm. The MV shows the rookies involved in various races, as the strive to finish strong.

The historical fantasy drama “Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938″ ended on June 11th. Beloved gumiho Lee Yeon travels back in time and meets up with some surprisingly familiar faces. But this trip into the past is about more than just reunions. And as happy as he is to be reunited with friends and family, he is determined to return back to the present, safe and sound.

The mystery melodrama “Queen of Masks” finished on June 13th. A human rights lawyer and activist overcame her own personal tragedy and is now known for the work she does to help powerless victims. But behind closed door, her motives are more selfish. She has a plan to become the future mayor of Seoul. And a person from her past may ruin all of her careful laid plans.
Oh! Youngsim
The quirky romantic comedy “Oh! Youngsim” aired its finale on June 13th. A struggling reality show PD accidentally casts a friend from her chilhood in her newest dating program. But this handsome, successful businessman is nothing like the awkward classmate who used to follow her around.

The Hulu office drama “Race” ended on June 14th. An aspiring marketer goes to work for a large PR Firm. But she feels forced to make up for her lack of academic background by dedicating all of her time and energy into becoming the perfect employee.
