Welcome to the Weekly Update – July 2 – 8. It was a quiet week with relatively little to share. There’s no new drama news at all this week and July looks to be pretty slim on new dramas, because so many were just getting started in June. Casting News
So Ju Yeon, Seo Ji Hoon, Kim Min Kyu, Kang Hye Won, and Yoon Hyun Soo
So Ju Yeon, Seo Ji Hoon, Kim Min Kyu, Kang Hye Won, and Yoon Hyun Soo will be starring in the upcoming school drama “Seasons of Blossom“. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama follows a group of high school students with a different focal character for each of the four season. “Seasons of Blossom” will premiere in September.
Yein and Tan
Lovelyz’s Yein and Ciipher’s Tan will be starring together in the upcoming romantic web drama “Nara Who Wants to Become an Insider“. The school drama will tell the story of high school students who are preparing to enter the film and theater department at college, in the hopes of becoming stars. “Nara Who Wants to Become an Insider” will begin filming this month and is scheduled to air some time later this year.

Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)
ENHYPEN are rule breakers in their new single “Future Perfect (Pass the MIC). This Chicago drill rap and hip-hop track is powerful and energetic. The choreography has chopped, jerky moves that accentuate the staccato of the song itself. The MV seems to continue the story based on ENHYPEN’s webtoon “Dark Moon: The Blood Altar”.
WJSN
Last Sequence
The Queens are back! WJSN returns with a new single “Last Sequence”. The dance track chugs along with a consistant pace that is inviting and gives the perfect subtle background to highlight the groups strong vocal talent. The MV is full of jewels and flowers as the group sparkles in their glamorous styles.

I LOVE U
WINNER is confessing their feelings in their new single “I Love U”. This retro synth pop track is bright and fun and sets just the right mood for summer sunshine. The mid-tempo beat is just enough to keep your toes tapping along and the choreography is energetic and carefree. The MV follows the group around a studio as they film their own romantic drama.

LOVEADE
VIVIZ show off their cute, sweet sides in their new single “LOVEADE’. This bubbly pop hit is bouncy and upbeat with bright synth and percussion. The lyrics compare love to a nice icy drink on a hot summer day. The MV features vibrant colors and lots of summer fun.
SVT LEADERS
CHEERS
SVT LEADERS is a sub-group of team leaders from SEVENTEEN. The group leaders are hanging out at the party in their new single “Cheers”. This agressive hip-hop track has heavy-hitting swag and attitude. The strong vocal effects give the song a powerful hum as they sing about how far they have come as artists.
