Welcome to the Weekly Update – January 1 – 7. Happy New Year! We are back with lots of entertainment news. Ken
Vixx’s Ken finished his military service on January 5th. Ken enlisted on July 6th, 2020 and served as a member of the military band. Fans are looking forward to hearing about his new projects very soon.
Woo Do Hwan
Also officially discharged on January 5th was actor Woo Do Hwan. The star is already cast to star in the upcoming Netflix drama “Hunting Dogs” which is scheduled to air some time this year.

Jang Dong Yoon And Nana
Jang Dong Yoon and Nana will be starring together in the upcoming fantasy romance drama “My Man is Cupid“. The drama will tell the story of a fairy who mistakenly falls in love after being shot with his own arrow. “My Man is Cupid” will begin airing some time later this year.
Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun, Jung Moon Sung, Kim Sun Young, and Jang Gwang
Han Ji Eun, Hong Jong Hyun, Jung Moon Sung, Kim Sun Young, and Jang Gwang will be starring in the upcoming comedy drama “An Ant is Riding.” Five retail investors will show the ups and downs of stock trading as the characters learn the business together. “An Ant is Riding” is scheduled to air some time in the second half of 2022.

On January 5th, actress Kim Mi Soo died suddenly of an undisclosed cause. Kim Mi Soo was 29 years old and she was currently appearing in the Disney series “Snowdrop”. Friends and co-stars mourned her sudden passing and took to the internet to pay tribute to her. She will be missed!

The new girl band Kep1er, formed during the survival music show “Girls Planet 999“, debuted this week with their title track “Wa Da Da”. The pop track is full of youthful energy and a silly chorus just catchy enought to get stuck in your brain. The edgier, more powerful segments are contrasted with bits of bright and cheerful charm. The Red Sleeve
The popular historical romance “The Red Sleeve” aired it’s finale on January 1st. The series is based on a real-life Crown Prince who falls in love with a Court Lady who serves him. Lee Jun Ho and Lee Se Young, who starred in the drama, recently won the MBC best couple award for their performance.
Ghost Doctor
The new medical comedy “Ghost Doctor” premiered on January 3rd. An arrogant but talented doctor dies and takes over the body of a young. lazy resident. Though the two of them are complete opposites, they must learn to work together for the good of their patients.
