My Thoughts on 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call'
My Personal Insights and Rating
‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ is an intense, fast-paced medical drama. This one has bits of humor and a healthy dose of bromance. The story is well-written and balances interesting medical cases with an over-arching story that pits the new trauma team against established hospital politics. I loved this cast and I appreciate that even though this drama was written with the intention of having mulitple seasons, it manages to both put a nice finish on this season while still leaving space for potential upcoming seasons.
On the down side, this isn’t just a medical series; it’s a trauma medicine series. Read here, extremely bloody. While I personally am not overly squeamish, I have heard plenty of fans complain that they spent large amounts of time with their eyes covered. So, just go in expecting lots of emergency and surgery scenes with plenty of bloody camera shots. With their eyes on other seasons, I did feel like there were a few story threads that they left hanging to pick up later. But I absolutely enjoyed this one! I give ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ a 9 out of 10 ramen.
