And as they adjust to life in a small town, they will find new friends and new dreams. But her daughter’s disappearance was more than just a momentary rebellion, and she will soon find that her daughter is hiding a heartbreaking secret.
My Personal Thoughts and Ratings
‘Love Take Two’ is a warm romantic drama about a single mom and her relationship with her daughter. It is a story of love, friendship, and community. The small town setting gives us a fun array of secondary characters, and the dual generation love stories are a sweet touch. This is a slice of life drama with a classic kdrama feel.
But the pace is slow and steady, which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. This is a drama that is concerned more with people and relationships than action. This kind of life in a small town drama has been done plenty, and so the characters can feel cliche. But I loved the leads and the emphasis on finding healing through everyday life. I give ‘Love Take Two’ an 8 out of 10 ramen.
