DAESUNG

Falling Slowly

BIGBANG’s DAESUNG is drifting back to a memory in his new single “Falling Slowly”.  This emotional pop ballad uses bright synth and percussion to contrast with the singers rich timbre to create a melancholy track that tugs at your heartstrings.  To compliment that mood, the MV, featuring well-known actors Kim Seon Ho and Moon Ga Young, is a cinematic story about a gangster who is betrayed by the woman he loves.

SONG

It’s Call

iKON’s SONG is always down in his new single “It’s Call”.  This fun, upbeat trot track gives us the traditional bursts of energetic brass and rhythmic percussion that you would expect.  And SONG’s vocals have the deep melodic ring that fits this genre perfectly.  The charming MV shows the singer as an office worker who spends his days dreaming of his loved one.

LE SSERAFIM

Smart

LE SSERAFIM is soon to be a butterfly in their new B-side single “Smart”.  This pop track has a tropical flavor and an easy, chill beat.  It is unhurried and melodic.  The MV, which focuses on the songs choreography, has been the center of controversy among fans on several levels, from cultural appropriation to inappropriate displays by a minor.

HORI7ON

LUCKY

Rookie Filipino group HORI7ON wants to get this right in their new single “LUCKY”.  This cheerful pop track features whistling and finger snapping, along with bright instrumentation and brass.  The upbeat, youthful approach has become a trademark of the new group, who despite their nationality are based in Seoul.  The MV shows the band hitting the streets of the city for some fresh air, sunshine, and dance breaks.
