MJ
On May 9th, ASTRO’s MJ began his military service. As the oldest member of the band, MJ is the first to enlist. After finishing basic training, the musician will take part in the Military Music Corp. His fellow band mates were on hand to see MJ off with smiles and well-wishes. Stay safe and hurry home, MJ. You will be missed.

Namgoong Min and Kim Ji Eun
Namgoong Min and Kim Ji Eun will be reuniting in the upcoming legal drama “1000 Won Lawyer“. The pair previously starred together in the action thriller “The Veil“. For this drama, Namgoong Min will play a rebellious lawyer who only charges 1000 won to help client fight against wealthy opponents who use their position to exploit others. “1000 Won Lawyer” is scheduled to air some time in September.
Hongseok, Jung Woo Jin, Lee So Hee, And Shin So Hyun
Pentagon’s Hongseok, Jung Woo Jin, Lee So Hee, and Shin So Hyun have been confirmed to star in a new college drama “Aquaman“. The drama, based on a webtoon of the same name, will be a Kakao original. The story revolves around a group of young people who find love and friendship on their college campus. “Aquaman” will premiere some time this summer.

BTBT
B.I is taking love slow in his new pre-release single “BTBT”. The smooth pop track is a collaboration between the former iKON musician and up and coming artist DeVita. The futuristic MV shows B.I and his friends in a cyberpunk style city as their friendship remains the only constant in an ever-changing world. The title refers to the small steps we take when we are at the beginning of a relationship.

TXT is giving up on love in their new title track “Good Boy Gone Bad”. The gritty rock hip-hop track is full of dark energy and drive. The lyrics are about the anger and grief of losing your first love. The MV shows the band putting their older, more innocent selves to death as they are reborn as “bad boys”.

Fame
Ciipher is hacking their way to success in their new title track “Fame”. The EDM dance track has a pulsing beat and some nice vocal energy. Guitar and icy synths round out the sound to drive the song along through various verses and tempos. The MV shows the band as spies cracking the code to chase the light of fame.
