Strangely, a considerably higher number of dramas finished this month than new ones that premiered.  The great news for fans is that the dramas range from a binge-worthy 6 episode mini-series, plus another couple that are only 8 episodes, to a  103 episode marathon family drama, with lots somewhere in between.  There are lots of genres to choose from as well, so pick your favorite and dive right in.

Woori the Virgin

Starring:  Im Soo Hyang and Sung Hoon

A  mix up at a routine doctors appointment leads to a young, single woman being artificially inseminated.  Now she will have to choose between her devoted boyfriend and the dashing father of her unborn baby.

Starring: Jin Goo and Ha Do Gwon

An ordinary firefighter gets pulled into a dark scenario where he must kill a serial killer in order to save his kidnapped daughter.  Now he is in a race against time, with only 24 hours to commit this crime and get his daughter back.  This drama is based on a popular webtoon.

A female police officer is investigating a murder case in her neighborhood.  But things hit close to home when she finds out the only clue to the case is a receipt from the local market owned by her boyfriend’s family.

Green Mother’s Club

Five mothers meet through a support group for elementary school moms.  Each woman comes to the group with their own unique strengths and weaknesses.  Together they will form friendships and encourage each other, as they all try to be the best parent they can.

A young man is actively seeking a job when he accidentally runs into a couple of grim reapers.  As part of the “Risk Management Team”, they are in charge of stopping people from taking their own lives.  The man begins a sort of internship with the reapers and becomes  a temporary part of their team.

A story based on the real historical figure of Lee Bang Won, who was the third King of the Joseon Period.  His reign encompassed the time when the Goryeo Dynasty was destroyed and the Joseon Dynasty rose to power.  

Love Twist
