My Personal Thoughts and Ratings
‘Walking on Thin Ice’ is crime thriller about a housewife turned drug dealer. This classic style thriler has good, consistant pacing and avoids a lot of worthless filler and unnecessary side stories. Despite a 16 year age gap, the leads have great chemisty. And although this drama focuses on action, the character development is strong, as the leads wrestle with ideas of revenge and morality.
But this is an action drama about drugs, so there is some violence. Some fans found the vague moral ambiguity troubling. Also, some of the chase and investigation scenes can start to feel redundant toward the middle of the series. But I I enjoyed the exciting action scenes mixed with emotional melodrama. I give ‘Walking on Thin Ice’ a 9 out of 10 ramen.
